Sunne Morgana Tour

June 17
When you arrive in London, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to check into our hotel. In the evening, we will have dinner at a local restaurant and rest after the long flight.

June 18-19
After a good night’s sleep and breakfast, we will drive to the Rollright Stones, which date to the Neolithic and early Bronze Age and reflect a long tradition of ritual gathering, ancestor veneration, and seasonal observance. Local folklore holds that the stones are a king and his knights turned to stone by a witch. Not far away, carved into the hillside of the Berkshire Downs, the great white figure of the Uffington Horse, created in the late Bronze Age, forms a striking geoglyph that scholars link to solar symbolism, territorial guardianship, and the mythic horse of sovereignty.

June 20-21
We will travel to Salisbury Plain to the sites of Stonehenge and Avebury to observe the Summer Solstice. The longest day of the year reveals the astronomical wisdom embedded in Britain’s ancient sacred landscape. At Stonehenge, the rising sun aligns with the Heel Stone and pours light directly into the heart of the monument. At Avebury, the vast stone circles and avenues extend this ceremonial landscape across the surrounding hills, creating a place where community, ritual movement, and cosmic observation meet. Being present at these sites during the sacred time of the solstice allows us to witness the same moment of solar triumph that ancient peoples honored.

June 22
Next, we will drive to the city of Bath, which grew around one of Britain’s most revered sacred springs, a place where the local Celtic goddess Sulis was honored as a healer, seer, and guardian of the living waters that rise warm from the earth. When the Romans arrived, they recognized the power of this sanctuary and united Sulis with their own goddess Minerva, forming the unique deity Sulis Minerva. At the great temple and bathing complex known today as the Roman Baths, pilgrims came from across Roman Britain to bathe in the mineral waters, offer prayers, and leave inscribed curse tablets asking the goddess to restore justice or healing. Here, we will partake in the waters of the Goddess and enjoy a torchlit tour of the Roman Bath.

June 23-25
Onward we will journey to Glastonbury, where we will sojourn in Avalon, visiting the Red and White Springs, the Tor and St. Michael’s Tower, and browse the festive downtown with quaint shops and restaurants. Our visit will optionally include the Glastonbury Abbey and Glastonbury Goddess Temple, and we will spend time steeping in the mythic tradition of Avalon, Morgan Le Fae, and the magic of the sacred landscape. The atmosphere of Glastonbury is vibrant, eclectic, and electric. We will gather treasures here to consecrate in a ceremony of purification, healing, and renewal before we head into the wilds of Cornwall.

June 25-26
Nothing can prepare a person for the first glimpse of the beautiful, rugged landscape of Cornwall. On June 25, we will drive from Glastonbury to the Cornish Coast, check into our cottages, and enjoy dinner at a local pub. On the morning of June 26, we will hike the winding flat trail to St. Nectan’s Glen, an enchanted waterfall in a deciduous forest with a babbling stream and sacred art all around. After our walk down to the waterfall, we can have tea in the lovely cafe there. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, which houses numerous relics of witches, sorcerers, and cunning folk from the past to the present.

June 27-28
June 27 is for Tintagel, the birthplace of Arthurian Legend. Perched upon the wild Atlantic cliffs of Cornwall, Tintagel Castle is where history meets legend, long associated with King Arthur. Beneath the cliffs lies Merlin's Cave, a sea cave revealed at low tide that later tradition linked with the wizard Merlin. Archaeology shows that Tintagel was an important post-Roman settlement connected with Mediterranean trade, while myth remembers it as a threshold where prophecy, kingship, and enchantment gave rise to one of the most famous stories of Britain. The landscape itself feels initiatory, with wind, sea, and stone forming a dramatic setting. We will work with this power to release the inner warrior, secure the heart of magic, and empower the enchantress archetype in sacred art and ceremony on June 28, our retreat day.

June 29

On June 29, after breakfast, we will pack up our things and make our way back to London, to our hotel near the airport. Over a final dinner together, we will recollect our journey, share our photos, and lock in the remarkable moments with memory-sharing.

June 30

On Departure Day, you will be taken to the airport for your journey home, or onward to your next adventure.

Discover the inner sun and sorceress during Summer Solstice at the sites of ancient Britain

Our journey through the sacred landscape of ancient Britain will awaken the deep current of Avalonian and Arthurian magic that continues to call to women across time. Standing among the stones of Stonehenge, walking the great circles of Avebury, gazing upon the chalk figure of the Uffington White Horse, or listening to the tide breathe through Merlin's Cave conjures a memory of priestesses, queens, and seers who tended the thresholds between worlds.

These places carry the resonance of Avalon and the stories of Arthurian Britain, where women such as Morgan le Fay and the Lady of the Lake embodied wisdom, sovereignty, and the mysteries of transformation. For modern Goddess women, our pilgrimage through this landscape will blossom into a living initiation, stirring intuition, courage, and devotion while reconnecting the soul with the timeless currents that shaped the myths of the Isles.
